General

The General section allows users to set up general settings, classify room types and general area types, assign rooms, add profile preferences and data retention policies, and map them to the guest type.

This section contains the following menus:

  • Property, buildings & outlets - allows users to set up default settings such as buildings, property, meal periods, language, and locale

  • Rooms & room types - allows users to classify room types and general area types, assign rooms, and associate general areas to the building

  • Profile settings - allows users to customize the history panel as it appears on the guest profile and the Reservation

  • Property Import/Export - allows users to import and export the details of the Agilysys Stay application

  • Housekeeping Services Import- allows users to import the housekeeping services from the system to the Agilysys Stay application

  • Loyalty programs - allows users to set up loyalty programs and add them to the guest's profile or Reservation

  • Profile Preferences - allows users to create tenant-level preferences and options for profiles

  • Phone Call Management - allows users to specify the call allowances and map the transaction items to call types

  • Data Retention management - allows users to define how long an individual's data can be retained by a property and after when it must be anonymized

  • Feature Settings - allows users to enable and disable features at the property-level

  • Profile & Reservations Import/Export - allows users to import or export company, travel agent, and guest profiles, and reservations

  • Guest Self Service - allows users to configure the contactless guest-facing self-service feature of Stay that works on any standard tablet or laptop.
