• Definite Groups: When selected, users must create room blocks for groups created with Definite status.

• Tentative Groups: When selected, users must create room blocks for groups created with Tentative status.

• Enabled: The undo cancel option for a previously cancelled group is not displayed.

• Disabled: Users can undo cancel a previously cancelled group.

Enable this flag to reverse the routed charges from a group master. When enabled, the Reverse Charge Routing Reason section appears.

Enable this flag to allow users to configure settings to post charges to group masters in the Point of Sale Settings pop-up screen.

• Enabled: The Copy Group option will be enabled for selection to copy a group.

• Disabled: The Copy Group option for a group will not be displayed.

• Return the Block to Original Room Type: When selected, the room blocks from the original room type are retained when users modify the room type of group reservations. This option is selected by default.

• Move the Block to New Room Type: When selected, the room blocks are moved to the new room type when users modify the room type of group reservations, thereby decreasing the count of room blocks on the original room type.

This flag supports the following functionality:

• Enabled: When enabled, users can select the Show comp category for event-only groups checkbox to display the comp category for the event-only groups and the transaction item for posting the event revenue from the Post Event Revenue As drop-down list.

• Disabled: When disabled, the Show comp category for event-only groups checkbox and the Post Event Revenue As drop-down list will be greyed out.

• This checkbox is not selected by default. When selected, the Comp Category field will be displayed in the Group screen when creating an event-only group.

• This is a drop-down list that displays the transaction items available at the property that are not marked as Room Revenue. The selected item will be used to post the revenue for the event-only groups created from third-party sources and do not have a transaction item configured for posting the revenue.

• Enabled: When enabled, the +Add Confirmation Number hyperlink will not be displayed in the Group Booking tab but in the Reservation Presets tab.

• Disabled: When disabled, users can continue to add the third-party source and confirmation numbers for groups from the Details section of the Group Booking tab.

Users can select the default number of dates from this drop-down list.

• Users must enable this flag to block rooms for a group’s arrival and departure shoulder dates.

• The configuration made at the property level will be pre-populated for the created groups.

• When the configurations are changed at the group level, the changes are applied for the respective group.

• Allocate: This option is selected by default. When selected, the blocked rooms do not impact the rooms count on the General Availability screen until the rooms are picked up.

• Block: When selected, the blocked rooms impact the rooms count on the General Availability screen.

The configuration made at the property level will be pre-populated for the created groups.

When the configurations are changed at the group level, the changes are applied for the respective group.
