Ledger Details Report

The Ledger Details report allows users to view details of the transactions performed in each ledger.

Perform the following steps to generate the report:

Navigate to Reports Dynamic Reports Accounting Ledger Details report.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields.

Field

Report Name

Ledger Details.

Property

This is a mandatory multi-select drop-down list that allows users to select the properties for report generation. The current property is selected by default.

Date

The start date for retrieving the ledger details. This is a mandatory field that displays the date that is a day prior to the current property date by default. Users can select past dates. Future dates cannot be selected.

Ledger

This is a mandatory multi-select drop-down list that allows users to select the ledgers for viewing the transaction details. Users can select from the following options:

  • A/R

  • City

  • Deposit

  • Guest

Click Run to generate the report.

Click Save to save the report under User Favorites section.

Report Fields

This report displays the following fields:

Field

Description

Ledger

The ledger name is displayed with an accordion. When the accordion is collapsed, only the total charges, payments, and balance of the ledger is displayed. When the accordion is expanded, values are displayed for the remaining columns. This column can be sorted and filtered.

Property

The property code of the property in which the transaction is performed. This column can be filtered.

Account Name

The account name of the account in which the transaction was performed is displayed as a hyperlink. When clicked, users are navigated to the respective account. This column can be sorted and filtered.

Account Number

The account number of the account in which the transaction was performed is displayed as a hyperlink. When clicked, users are navigated to the respective account. This column can be sorted.

Account Status

The status of the account. This column can be sorted.

Arrival Date

The arrival date of the reservation. This column can be sorted.

Departure Date

The departure date of the reservation. This column can be sorted.

Nights

The number of stay nights of the reservation.

Room Type Name

The room type name used for booking. This column can be sorted.

Room Type Code

The room type code used for booking. This column can be sorted.

Charges

Total charges posted to the account.

Payments

Total payments made in the account.

Balance

The balance due for the account.
