Market Segment Revenue by Room Type Report

The Market Segment Revenue by Room Type Report allows users to track the revenue generated from a market segment for every room type available at the property for a selected date range.

Perform the following steps to generate the report:

Navigate to Reports ➜ Dynamic Reports ➜ Revenue/Forecasting ➜ Market Segment Revenue by Room Type.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields.

Field	Description
Report Name	Market Segment Revenue by Room Type
Start Date	The start date from which the report must be generated. Users can select any dates in the past, present, or future.
End Date	The end date up to which the report must be generated. Users can select any dates in the past, present, or future that is greater than the start date. Users can select any date that is a maximum of 365 days from the start date.
Room Types	This is a multi-select drop-down list that displays all the room types configured at the property. Users can select the preferred room types whose revenue must be tracked in the report.
Segment Filter	This is a multi-select drop-down list that displays all the market segments configured at the property. Users can select the preferred market segment values whose revenue must be tracked in the report.

Click Run to generate the report.

Click Save to save the report under User Favorites section.

Report Fields

This report displays the following fields:

Field	Description
Room Type	Displays the records grouped by the room types selected for generating the report as an accordion. The accordion is expanded by default and displays the values for the subsequent columns. When collapsed, the grand total of the column values for all the market segments associated with the room type is displayed.
Market Segment	Displays the market segments selected for generating the report that are associated with each selected room type. Users can search for a record using this column.
Room Nights
Rooms	Displays the total consumed and/or forecasted room count for the market segment for every room type within the selected date range. Users can search for a record using this column.
Total	Displays the total consumed and/or forecasted number of nights for the market segment for every room type within the selected date range. Users can search for a record using this column.
Per Room	Displays the average of consumed and/or forecasted room nights for the market segment for every room type within the selected date range. Users can search for a record using this column.
Guests
Adults	Displays the actual and/or forecasted number of occupants falling under the age category Adults, for the market segment for every room type within the selected date range. Users can search for a record using this column.
Children	Displays the actual and/or forecasted number of occupants falling under the age category Children, for the market segment for every room type within the selected date range. Users can search for a record using this column.
Total	Displays the actual and/or forecasted number of total occupants (Adults + Children) under the market segment for every room type within the selected date range. Users can search for a record using this column.
Per Room	Displays the average of actual and/or forecasted number of total occupants per room under the market segment for every room type within the selected date range. Users can search for a record using this column.
Room Revenue
Room Revenue	Display the earned and/or forecasted room revenue without tax for the market segment for every room type within the selected date range up to a maximum of two digits after the decimal point. Users can search for a record using this column.
Room Revenue Tax	Displays the earned and/or forecasted room revenue tax only for the market segment for every room type within the selected date range up to a maximum of two digits after the decimal point. Users can search for a record using this column.
Room Revenue Total	Displays the total earned and/or forecasted room revenue for the market segment for every room type within the selected date range up to a maximum of two digits after the decimal point. Users can search for a record using this column.
Per Room Night	Displays the revenue per room night calculated as Room Revenue/Room Occupied Nights. Users can search for a record using this column.
Per Room	Displays the revenue per room calculated as Room Revenue/Room Occupied. Users can search for a record using this column.
