Display Guest Type and Market Segment Details for Each Night of Stay

The guest type and market segment details is displayed for each night of the reservation. Previously, when reservations were booked using multiple rate plans with different guest type and market segments, the guest type and market segment details were displayed only for the arrival date of the reservations. With this enhancement, users can view and modify the guest type and market segment details for each night of stay.

When the Date Wide Market Segment & Guest Type Display feature setting is enabled, users can view and modify the guest type and market segment details for each night of stay. A new section, Marketing, is displayed on expanding the Estimated Charges section of a reservation. Users can select the preferred market segment and guest types by clicking the by clicking the Edit hyperlink that is present beneath the Marketing section.

When clicked, the Market Segment & Guest Type Details screen appears that displays the following details:

Field	Description
Date	Displays the stay dates of the reservation individually. This field cannot be modified.
Rate Plan	Displays the name of the rate plan associated with each stay date of the reservation. A hyphen (-) is displayed for the dates for which a rate plan is not associated. This field cannot be modified.
Package	Displays the package code of the package associated with each stay date of the reservation. A hyphen (-) is displayed for the dates for which a package is not associated. This field cannot be modified.
Market Segment	It is single-select drop-down list that displays the market segment associated with each stay date of the reservation by default. All the active market segments configured at the property are displayed in the drop-down list. Users can select the required option. The selected option is mapped to the rate plan/package only for the date for which it is selected. The selected market segment is applicable only for the current reservation. If there is an Auto Recurring Charge Rule associated with the selected market segment, the rule is applied to the selected dates. This field is left empty for the stay dates for which no market segment is associated with the rate plan/package.
Guest Type	It is single-select drop-down list that displays the guest type associated with each stay date of the reservation by default. All the active guest types configured at the property are displayed in the drop-down list. Users can select the required option. The selected option is mapped to the rate plan/package only for the date for which it is selected. The selected guest type is applicable only for the current reservation. If there is an Auto Recurring Charge Rule associated with the selected guest type, the rule is applied to the selected dates. This field is left empty for the stay dates for which no guest type is associated with the rate plan/package.
