Room Assignment for Reservations

Stay allows users to assign rooms to reservations from the following areas based on the room assignment option selected in the Room Assignment drop-down list in the Room Assignment tab of the Rooms Setup screen (All Settings ➜ General ➜ Rooms & Room Types ➜ Room Assignment):

• Batch Operations ➜ Check-In ➜ Assign Rooms

• Tape Chart ➜ Assign Rooms

• Room Assignment section of the Book a Reservation screen

• Currently Selected Room section of the reservation

• Other Matching Rooms section of the reservation

• Recommended Upgrades section of the reservation

• Scheduled Room Moves

• When a room assigned to a reservation during date roll

The Room Assignment drop-down list displays the following options:

• Rack Order

• Room Usage

• Room Revenue

• Owner RevPar

• Grade + OwnerRevPar

Based on the option selected, rooms available at the property are prioritized and assigned to the reservations.
