Route Previously Posted Charges Using Routing Rules

Stay routes charges previously posted to accounts using a routing rule, for specific dates.

Through this feature, users can select the preferred dates on which the posted charges must be routed.

The Valid On field in the Add/Edit Routing Rule pop-up screens that appear when users add or modify the routing rule associated with the account supports past dates prior to the current property date. The charges posted to the accounts will be routed based on the dates selected. Only the dates within the reservation’s duration of stay can be selected. Also, the Run rule for charges & deposits already posted option must be selected for the routing rule to route the charges posted.

For example, for a reservation from December 1, 2024, to December 3, 2024, if the user wants to route a charge posted on December 1^st and the charges posted during the duration of stay, the user must select the dates from December 1^st to 3^rd  in the Valid On field and select the Run rule for charges & deposits already posted option for the routing rule associated with the reservation.
