Apply Group Third-Party Source and Confirmation Numbers to Reservations

Stay is enhanced to allow users to add a third-party source and confirmation number to groups from the Reservation Presets tab.

Property Setting

  • When the Cascade Group Third-Party Confirmation Numbers to Reservations flag is enabled in the Groups Default section in the Groups tab of the Property Setup screen (All Settings ➜General ➜Property, Buildings & Outlets), the +Add Confirmation Number hyperlink will not be displayed in the Group Booking tab but in the Reservation Presets tab.

  • When this flag is disabled, users can continue to add the third-party source and confirmation numbers for groups from the Details section of the Group Booking tab.

Add Third-Party Source and Confirmation Numbers

Once the Cascade Group Third-Party Confirmation Numbers to Reservations flag is enabled, users can configure a third-party source and confirmation number in the Reservation Presets tab.

The third-party source and confirmation number added in the Reservation Presets tab will be applied to all the existing and future reservations created for the group. When users choose to apply presets to the previously booked reservations, the third-party source and confirmation number will be applied to all the reservations that were booked before the source and confirmation number were added for the group.

System Changes

To support this enhancement, a new flag, Cascade Group Third-Party Confirmation Numbers to Reservations, has been added to the Groups tab of the Property Setup screen (All Settings ➜ General ➜ Property, Buildings & Outlets).
