Associate Default Payment Method with Default Folios

Stay is enhanced to allow users to associate a default payment method with the default folios of groups and house accounts in addition to reservations. Previously, users could associate a default payment method with the default folio of reservations only.

Permission

The existing AddPaymentMethod permission must be assigned to use this feature.

Associate Default Payment Method in Groups and House Accounts

Users can associate a default payment method with the default folios of groups and house accounts by selecting the newly added Associate Default Folio to This Payment Method option checkbox in the Payment Method pop-up screen when accessed from the following areas:

• Group ➜ Folio & Routing Rules ➜ Payment Methods ➜ Add (+)

• House Account ➜ Payment Methods ➜ Add (+)

The Associate Default Folio to This Payment Method option checkbox will be selected automatically when the Save As Primary Payment Method on Reservation checkbox is selected. When selected, the newly added payment method will be updated as the default payment method for the default folio of the group/house account. Users can deselect the Associate Default Folio to This Payment Method option checkbox if required.
