Book Reservations Using Default Rate Plan for Unavailable Stay Dates

The following enhancement has been made to the Agilysys Stay - Agilysys Book integration:

When the arrival or departure dates selected for a reservation in the date picker displayed in the Rooms & Rates page in Agilysys Book is beyond the expiry date configured for the rate plan or package selected for booking, guests can choose to book the reservation using the default rate plan selected in the booking channel for the Agilysys Book interface in Stay.

To support this enhancement, a new section, Rates Get, has been added to the RGuest Book interface in the Settings tab of the Interface Channel Management screen (All Settings ➜ Administration ➜ Interfaces and Channel Management ➜ Settings ➜ RGuest Book). A new checkbox, Include Default Rates for Unavailable Dates, has been added to this section.

• This checkbox is not selected by default. When this checkbox is not selected, no rates will be displayed in the Rooms & Rates page in Agilysys Book when the rate plan or package selected for booking is unavailable.

• When selected, the rates configured for the default rate plan selected in the booking channel will be displayed on the Rooms & Rates page in Agilysys Book when the rate plan or package selected for booking is unavailable.
