Collect Deposit Due for Modified Reservations

Stay is enhanced to collect the deposit due for reservations when modified from the following interfaces:

• Pegasus CRS

• Open API

• Open API V2

• Synxis

• Travel Click

• SiteMinder

Previously, when a reservation was modified from any of the mentioned interfaces, the additional deposit amount was not collected in Stay.

This enhancement is applicable for credit card payments only.

When a reservation is booked through an interface, the required deposit amount is collected at the time of booking. When the booked reservation is modified, and when the modification resulted in a change in the rate plan, or room type, which increases the deposit amount, the additional deposit amount is collected automatically when the deposit due date matches the current property date.
