Display Alerts for Concurrent Users

Stay is enhanced to alert users when the following screens are accessed concurrently by a different user(s):

• Reservations

• Guest profiles

• Company profiles

• Group masters

• Travel agent profiles

• A/R accounts

The alerts are displayed as a banner in the mentioned screens when accessed through the same, different, or incognito mode of the browsers. The username of the other users accessing the screen concurrently are displayed in the alerts. For example, if User A is accessing a reservation and when the reservation is accessed concurrently by a User B, User A and User B are alerted that the reservation is being accessed concurrently by the other user.

Feature Setting

The following new feature setting must be enabled to use this feature:

• Name: Display Concurrent User

• Comments: License is not required

Alerts Displayed for a Concurrent User

When the feature setting is enabled, an alert is displayed as a banner in the mentioned screens in the following format, when the screen is accessed simultaneously by a different user:

Alerts Displayed for Multiple Concurrent Users

When a screen is accessed concurrently by multiple users, the alert is displayed as a banner in the following format in the mentioned screens:

When users click the Click here hyperlink, the User Details pop-up screen appears that displays the usernames of the users accessing the screen concurrently. This hyperlink will be displayed only when more than 3 users access a screen concurrently. The alert will continue to be displayed after the User Details pop-up screen is closed.

The alert cannot be dismissed. When a concurrent user moves out of the screen, the alert will no longer be displayed in the case of a single concurrent user, or the username of the user will be removed from the alert in the case of multiple concurrent users. The alert will be displayed and removed as and when a concurrent user accesses and moves out of the screen.

The alerts are continued to be displayed on the screens until the date roll. After the date roll is completed, users must manually refresh the screens to view the details of the concurrent users. The alert is also displayed when a reservation, profile, or A/R account is accessed concurrently in a different property under the tenant.

Display Alerts During Browser and Network Issues

When multiple users are accessing a screen concurrently and when a user experiences a browser or network connectivity issue, the details of the user are removed from the alert when users manually refresh the screen after the date roll.

In the case of a single concurrent user, when the user experiences an issue, the alert will no longer be displayed for the other user when the screen is refreshed after the date roll.
