Display Rates with Auto Recurring Fees in Flexible Rates Calendar Screen

Stay is enhanced to include the auto recurring fees applied to rate plans, room types, and packages added to the nightly room rate when displaying rates in the Flexible Date Calendar page in Agilysys Book. With this enhancement, guests can now view rates that include any mandatory fees (for example resort fees) added to the nightly room rate in Book.

All auto recurring fee rules, that is, Default Fees, Single Condition Rules, and Multi Condition Rules will be considered when rates are displayed on the Flexible Dates Calendar page.

For example, consider a rate plan whose nightly room rate is $100, and a multi condition auto recurring fee applied is $50. When this rate plan is selected in the calendar in the Flexible Date Calendar screen, the rate will be displayed as $150. Previously, only the nightly room rate was displayed on this screen. The auto recurring fee applied for the selected rate plan was displayed in the Confirmation pop-up screen that appears after the room types were selected and guests proceeded with the booking.

• The auto recurring fee rules configured only with Every Night(s), and By days of week frequencies will be displayed in the Flexible Dates Calendar page. 

• The auto recurring fee rules configured with the First night only and Last night only frequencies will not be displayed in the calendar page but will continue to be displayed in the Confirmation pop-up screen in Agilysys Book as per the existing functionality.

The rate displayed in the Flexible Date Calendar page does not include tax.

When strikethrough pricing is enabled, auto recurring fees applied to the rate plan selected in the Default Rate Plan field in the Property Setup screen (All Settings ➜ General ➜ Property, Buildings & Outlets) will be added to the struckthrough prices and displayed in the Flexible Date Calendar page.
