Enhancements to Including Add-Ons in Deposit and Cancellation Policies

Stay is enhanced to allow users to include add-ons in the deposit and cancellation policies created by the properties. When add-ons are selected in the policies, the deposit amount and the cancellation fees are calculated for the reservations inclusive of the charges configured for the add-ons.

Feature Setting

The following feature setting must be enabled by the property to include add-ons in cancellation and deposit policies:

• Name: Enhanced Add-Ons

• Value: Must be enabled

• Comments: License is not required

As a part of this enhancement, the following changes have been made:

• If the reservations created through third-party sources, such as OTAs contain recurring charges, the recurring charges will be considered as add-ons.

  • These recurring charges are included in the deposit amount calculated for the reservations until they are checked in, and in the cancellation fees calculated for the reservations.
