Expiry of Physical and Digital Keys of Reservations

The following modifications have been made to the physical keys generated for a reservation:

  • The physical key will not expire when the reservation a checked out. Instead, the key will expire only at the expiration time set when creating the key.

  • A record of the expiration of the physical key is captured in the History tab in the Key section of the reservation.

  • Once a reservation is checked out, the physical key status is displayed as Blank in the Key section.

  • When a room is released after the physical key has been generated, the key status is not displayed. Instead, the following message is displayed: No room is assigned. Please assign a room before creating keys. A record is created for the same in the History tab.

The following modifications have been made to the status of the digital keys generated for a reservation, when a room is either released or not released after an undo check-in is performed:

  • When a room assigned to a reservation has been either released or not released after an undo check-in is performed and a digital key has been provided, the key status is displayed as Blank in the Key section, and the key is revoked.

  • The digital keys are generated for a reservation based on the key fetch request received.
