Receive Payment Method Details from ACRS

The Agilysys Stay - Amadeus CRS (ACRS) integration is enhanced to save the payment method details sent for reservations. When a reservation is created in ACRS and sent to Stay, the payment method used for paying the deposit amount will be stored as the primary payment method and associated with the Default Folio of the reservation in Stay. The deposit amount collected using the payment method will be posted to the Default Folio.

When an additional payment method is authorized by the guest from ACRS, the new payment method will be added as the primary method and the existing payment method will be saved as the secondary payment method. The payment method saved can be used for making subsequent payments such as scheduled deposits for the reservation in Stay.

When the payment method used for the reservation does not exist in Stay, the reservation will be created with the default payment method set as Cash and the deposit amount will not be posted to the reservation folio. For example, if the deposit amount was paid using Amex card in ACRS and if the payment method does not exist in Stay, the reservation will be created in Stay with the primary payment method as Cash. When users access the reservation, the following message will be displayed: Reservation has deposit due.

The payment method sent for a reservation from ACRS is denoted by an Above Property Payment indicator.
