Stay - OpenAPIV2 Integration Enhancement

The Stay - OpenAPIV2 integration is enhanced to send details of the Auto Recurring Fee (ARF) rules configured in Stay to the OpenAPIV2 interface. The details of the ARF rules sent from Stay will be applied to the reservations and groups created through the OpenAPIV2 interface. The details of the following ARF rules configured in Stay (Settings ➜ Guest Accounting ➜ Auto Recurring Fees) are sent to the OpenAPIV2 interface:

  • Default Fees

  • Single Condition Rules

  • Multi Condition Rules

To support this enhancement, a new section, Auto Recurring Rule Configuration, has been added to the OpenAPIV2 interface in Stay (All Settings ➜ Administration ➜ Interface and Channel Management ➜ Settings ➜ OpenAPIV2). A new checkbox, Enabled, is added to this section that is deselected by default. When this checkbox is selected, the details of all ARF rules configured in Stay are sent to the OpenAPIV2 interface. The details of the rules sent can be viewed in the logs generated in the API Log tab of the Interface Channel Management screen.

The following details of the ARF rules are sent from Stay.

Auto Recurring Fee Rules

Default Fees

The following details configured for a rule in the Add Auto Recurring Fees pop-up screen are sent to the OpenAPIV2 interface:

  • The transaction item details such as the name, code, amount, and the Applicable For option selected.

  • Frequency at which the charge must be posted.

  • Status of the rule (active or inactive).

  • Source of the transaction item selected

Single Condition Rules

The following details configured for a rule in the Add Rule pop-up screen are sent to the OpenAPIV2 interface.

  • Rule name, code, and description.

  • The transaction item details such as the name, code, amount, and the Applicable For option selected.

  • Frequency at which the charge must be posted.

  • Rate plans, packages, groups, market segments, guest types, buildings, and room types to which the rule must be applied.

Multi Condition Rules

The following details configured for a rule in the Add Rule pop-up screen are sent to the OpenAPIV2 interface.

  • Rate plans, packages, groups, market segments, guest types, buildings, and room types to which the rule must be applied.
