Stay-Book Integration: Distinguish Package Rates Displayed in Flexible Dates Calendar

The Stay-Book integration is enhanced to distinguish the package rates from the nightly room rates displayed in the Flexible Dates calendar in Agilysys Book. Previously, the package rates were not distinguished from the nightly room rates. Since the cost of the additional components of a package were added to the nightly room rate of the first night of stay, the room rates were displayed at a higher rate, which resulted in lower bookings since the guests were not aware that the higher rates belonged to packages.

To support this enhancement, a new checkbox, Show as Package, has been added to the Booking Channels tab on the Interface Channel Management screen (All Settings ➜ Administration ➜ Interface Channel Management ➜ Booking Channels) in Stay.

When this checkbox is enabled, instead of displaying the nightly room rate displayed in the Flexible Dates calendar in Agilysys Book, the word, Package, is displayed and the Booking Summary screen displays the total price of the package and the total tax amount without displaying the detailed split up of the charges of the package components.

When this checkbox is disabled, the nightly room rate of the packages is displayed in the Flexible Dates calendar and the Booking Summary screen displays the detailed split up of the charges of the package components.
