Support for Multiple Rate Plans and Room Types in Agilysys Book for Unit Booking

Stay is enhanced to allow users to configure multiple rate plans and room types when integrated with Agilysys Book for Unit Booking.

Previously, users could configure only a single rate plan in the Select a Rate Plan drop-down list in the Agilysys Book interface in Stay. Thereby, guests could create unit bookings only from a single rate plan and its associated room types.

To support this enhancement, the following changes have been made:

• The Allow Room Number Selection flag on the Agilysys Book interface on the Booking Channels tab of the Interface and Channel Management screen has been renamed as Allow Villa/Unit Booking.

  • When enabled, a new drop-down list, Select Rate Plans, becomes available for selection.

  • Users can select the required rate plans from this drop-down list. Once selected, the names of the selected rate plans are displayed in the drop-down list.

  • When one or more rate plans are selected, a new drop-down list, Select Room Types, becomes available for selection. This drop-down list displays a list of room types associated with the selected rate plans.

    • Users can select one or more room types.

    • Users can search for a room type using the room type name.

    • Once selected, the selected room types are displayed in the drop-down list in the following format: <Rate Plan> (Number of room types selected for that rate plan).

• The flag, Ignore Single Rate Plan Selection, on the Agilysys Book interface on the Booking Channels tab of the Interface and Channel Management screen is renamed as Ignore Rate Plan Selection.

Based on the rate plans and room types selected in Stay, guests can create unit bookings in Agilysys Book.
