Validate Restrictions Configured for Offers Associated with Rate Plans

Stay has been enhanced to validate the restrictions configured for offers associated with rate plans before sending the nightly room rate to Agilysys Book.

That is, the offers selected by guests in the Offers page in Book are validated in Stay. Only when offers are valid for the selected stay dates and meet the applied restriction criteria, the corresponding room rate is sent to Book and displayed in the Rooms & Rates page.

This enhancement is applicable for casino offers only.

The following restrictions configured for offers in the Add/Edit pop-up screens (All Settings ➜ Comp Accounting Configuration ➜ Offers Setup ➜ Offer Management ➜ Offers ➜ Add/Edit) are validated in Stay:

  • Arrival Days

  • Length of Stay

  • Latest Arrival Date

  • Advance Purchase

  • Booking Allowed

  • Offer Start and End Dates

The offers that are valid for the duration of the reservation are applied and the corresponding rate is sent to Book.

When the Include Default Rates For Unavailable Dates (For casino player) checkbox is selected for the Book interface in Stay (Interfaces ➜ Cloud Settings ➜ Settings ➜ RGuest Book ➜ Rates Get):

  • The rate configured in the default rate plan is sent to Book when the selected rate plan is not available.

  • When the default rate plan is not available, the following message is displayed: Offer not found.

When the checkbox is not selected, the rate configured in the default rate plan is not sent and the following message is displayed in Book: Offer not found.

Consider an offer with the following start and end dates:

  • Start date: 1st January 2025

  • End date: 10th January 2025

Consider a reservation with the following arrival and departure dates:

  • Arrival date: 8th January 2025

  • Departure date: 13th January 2025

In this scenario, the offer will be applied for the dates, 8th, 9th, and 10th and the corresponding rate will be sent to Book. For 11th and 12th, the base rate configured in the rate plan will be sent to Book. When the rate plan is not available, the rate configured in the default rate plan is sent to Book. When the default rate plan is not available, the message, Offer not found, is displayed.

Message Displayed for Other Restrictions

The message, Offer not found, is displayed in Book when the following restrictions configured for an offer is not satisfied:

  • Arrival Days

  • Length of Stay - Min and Max criteria defined is not satisfied

  • Latest Arrival Date

  • Advance Purchase

  • Booking Allowed
