Display Room Move Reason for Nightly Upgrade Awards through ACRS

Stay is enhanced to allow users to select a room move reason, to be applied to room moves, that are performed when a Nightly Upgrade Award is granted to guests. The reason is selected when the room type upgrade is processed for a reservation before check-in. The room move reason configured will be displayed in the following areas of the reservation:

• Guest Stay History section

• Modified indicator in the Reservation Summary section

To support this enhancement, a new field, Nightly Upgrade Reason, has been added to the Room Move Reason Settings section of the Room Move Reason screen (All Settings à Reservations à Room Move Reasons à Setup) when the Display Nightly Upgrade Award in Reservation flag in the Setup tab of the Loyalty Programs screen (All Settings à General à Loyalty Programs) is enabled. This is a single-select drop-down list that displays all the active room move reasons configured at the property.

When the room type of the reservation is upgraded after the Nightly Upgrade Award is approved for the guest, the room move reason selected in the Nightly Upgrade Reason field will be displayed in the mentioned areas of the reservation.
