Gift Cards
Gift card gateway providers must first be set up in the Gift Card panel for guests’ redemption.
The feature setting named Gift Card must be enabled to proceed with the configuration. The following permissions are required to enter or edit gift card configurations:

Currently, the following gift card providers are supported:

Configuring Givex
Perform the following steps to set up the Givex gift card gateway:
Navigate to Settings ➜ All Settings ➜ Accounting ➜ Agilysys Pay Setup.
Click the Select Gateway Provider link in the Gift Card panel.
Select Givex in the Gift Card Gateway Providers pop-up screen.
Click Ok. The settings that are applicable for Givex are displayed on the Gift Card panel
Enter the details as given in the table below:

The user ID provided by Givex to access their endpoints. |

The transaction item to be associated with gift card-related transactions. |
Search for House Account |
A house account to associate all transactions related to gift cards. The field is optional. |
Click Save to complete settings.
Maintain Gift Card Configurations in Stay or Pay Portal
Stay allows users to choose if the gift card configurations for the property must be maintained in Stay or in the Pay Portal.
This feature is available for GiveX gift cards only. Contact Agilysys to enable the GiveX gift card integration for the property.
To use this feature, users must enable the Utilize Configuration from Pay Portal flag in the Gift Card section of the Agilysys Pay Setup screen (All Settings ➜ Accounting ➜ Agilysys Pay Setup). This flag is disabled by default. When enabled, the following fields are hidden in the UI and the values for the fields are retrieved from the Pay Portal:

User ID

Password
When the flag is disabled, the mentioned are displayed in the UI and users can configure values for the fields, thereby allowing users to maintain the gift card configurations in Stay.
Enter Pin for Gift Card Redemption
Stay allows properties to choose if a pin must be entered when redeeming gift cards in Stay.
This feature is available for GiveX gift cards only. Contact Agilysys to enable the GiveX gift card integration for the property.
To use this feature, users must enable the Require Pin for Redemption flag in the Gift Card section of the Agilysys Pay Setup screen (All Settings ➜ Accounting ➜ Agilysys Pay Setup). When enabled, users are prompted to enter a PIN number when making payments using gift cards.
Configuring Shift4
Perform the following steps to set up the Givex gift card gateway:
Navigate to Settings ➜ All Settings ➜ Accounting ➜ Agilysys Pay Setup.
Click the Select Gateway Provider link in the Gift Card panel.
Select Shift4 in the Gift Card Gateway Providers pop-up screen.
Click Ok. The settings that are applicable for Shift4 are displayed on the Gift Card panel.
