Revenue By Reservations

The Revenue By Reservations report allows users to view the booked revenue generated by each available reservation in Stay. As a property manager, user can reference the revenue by reservation details. If a package plan is associated with the reservation, it appears on the report with a palm tree icon.

Perform the following steps to generate the report:

Navigate to Reports à All Reports à Revenue By Rate Plan (under Revenue/Forecasting).

Select a date from the calendar to generate dates for the report.

Choose which sort options to include in the report:

Field

Description

Sort by Guest Name

Sorts the report alphabetically by guest name.

Sort by Room Number

Sorts the report alphanumerically by room number.

Sort by Room Rack Number

Sorts the report alphanumerically by room rack number.

Sort by Group Name

Sorts the report alphanumerically by group name.

Sort by Company

Sorts the report alphanumerically by company.

Sort by Rate Plan

Sorts the report alphabetically by rate plan.

Sort by Arrival Date

Sorts the report in ascending order of arrival dates.

Sort by Departure Date

Sorts the report in ascending order of departure dates.

Sort by VIP Status

Sorts the report by the VIP status of guests.

Enter a Rate Plan, Rate Amount, Company, Group, Guest Name, or Room Number value to filter the report by any of these filters. If no value is entered, all entries will be reported.

Click Generate. The report with the selected data appears.

Click Print to send a copy of the report to the printer.

Report Parameters

This report displays the following parameters:

Description

Guest Name

The guest name on the reservation.

VIP

The VIP status of the guest.

CONF#

The reservation confirmation number.

Arrive

The arrival date of the reservation.

Depart

The departure date of the reservation.

Nights

The number of nights that the guest is staying for the reservation.

Room Type

The room type selected

Room Number

The room numbers for which the revenue is calculated.

Status

The reservation status that indicates whether the reservation is still in house, due to depart, or already departed.

Default Payment

The payment method on the guest profile.

Company

The company name on the reservation.

Group

The group name on the reservation.

Guests

The guest name on the reservation.

Loyalty

The loyalty number that the guest is associated with, if assigned.

Rate

The rate being charged for each reservation.

Room Revenue

The room postings for the selected date.
