Revenue by Room Number Report

The Revenue by Room number report allows users to obtain information about the revenue generated by a particular room for the selected date range. Users can also view the revenue generated for a room that has day use reservations and comp reservations.

Perform the following steps to generate the report:

Navigate to Reports ➜ Dynamic Reports ➜ Revenue/Forecasting ➜ Revenue by Room Number report

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields.

Field	Description
Report Name	Revenue by Room Number
Property	The property associated with the reservation
Start Date	The date from which the report must be generated
End Date	The end date until when the report must be generated
Room Type	The room types that need to be considered for revenue calculation
Room Classification	The room classification (Bedded or Non-Bedded), for which the report is required
Reservation Status	The reservation status of the applicable reservations
Grouped By	The way in which the data needs to be grouped in the report

Click Run to generate the report.

Click Save to save the report under User Favorites section.

Report Fields

This report displays the following fields:

Field	Description
Revenue Date	Date for which the revenue is recorded in the Room number in the selected date range
Room Number	The Room number for which the revenue is generated
Floor	The floor in which that Room is located
Building	Name of the Building in which the room is located
Room Type	Name of the Room type under which the room belongs to
Room Class	Room Class under which the room is mapped to
Room Classification	Shows whether the room/room type is a Bedded or Non-Bedded Room
Confirmation Number	The Reservation confirmation Number of the reservation which is booked for the room on the date for the Room
Status	Status of the Reservation for which revenue is calculated
Arrival	Arrival date of the Reservation that is booked for the room
Departure	Departure date of the Reservation that is booked for the room
Nights	Total number of Nights of the reservation for which revenue is calculated
Rate Plan	The Rate plan code in which the reservation is booked
Default Payment Method	The name of the default payment associated with the reservation
Room Revenue	Net = Net Room Rate + Net amount of Charges with Items Flagged as Room Revenue - Net amount of Credits with Items Flagged as Room Revenue Tax = Room Rate Tax + Tax of Charges with Items Flagged as Room Revenue - Tax of Credits with Items Flagged as Room Revenue Gross = Net revenue + Tax
Total Revenue	Net = Net Room Rate + Net amount of Charges with Items Flagged as Room Revenue + Net amount of Charges with Items Flagged as Non-Room Revenue - Net amount of Credits (with both Room revenue and non-room revenue items) Tax = Room Rate Tax + Tax of Charges with Items Flagged as Room Revenue + Tax of Charges with Items Flagged as Non-Room Revenue - Tax of Credits (with both Room revenue and non-room revenue items) Gross = Total Net Revenue + Total Tax
