Booking Timeout

During reservation booking, if Book Reservation screen is left idle for five minutes, the Booking Timeout pop-up screen is displayed with a timer for two minutes that prompts the user to finish the booking process. The following message is displayed in the Booking Timeout Screen: The booking session will expire soon. Would you like to extend it? Time Remaining: XX:XX.

Users can either choose to continue with the booking or cancel the booking by clicking the following buttons in the Booking Timeout screen:

  • Continue Booking - Redirects the user to the previous page where they can continue with the booking process.

  • Cancel Booking - Redirects the user to the following screens:

    • The Check Rates booking screen if lost business tracking is not configured.

    • Lost Business Tracking pop-up screen if lost business tracking is configured.

On timeout, the user is redirected to the Check Rates screen if lost business tracking is not configured and Lost Business Tracking pop-up screen if lost business tracking is configured.
