Display Housekeeping Condition Updates in Reservation History

Stay is enhanced to display updates made to the housekeeping condition of a room, assigned to a reservation, in the History section of the Reservation Summary. This enhancement is particularly useful to track any room discrepancies when users manually update the housekeeping condition for a room.

Only the housekeeping changes made during the period of stay with respect to the room that is assigned to the reservation will be displayed. For example, if a guest’s period of stay is from Feb 24,2023 to Feb 26,2023, only the housekeeping condition updates made to the assigned room during this period will be displayed. Any changes made before or after the period of stay will not be displayed. Housekeeping condition updates made to discrepant rooms will also be captured in the logs.

To support this, the following change has been in Stay, which can be viewed in the reservation history log, audit log and in the room activity log:

  • Timestamp and username

  • Housekeeping condition in the following format: Updated Housekeeping Condition <Room Number> <Housekeeping Condition Name>

  • In case of a discrepant room, the information is updated in the following format: Updated Discrepant Housekeeping Condition <Room Number> <Inventory Status> <Housekeeping Condition Name>

If guests stay in multiple rooms during their period of stay and if any housekeeping condition updates are made to those rooms, logs of all the changes made will be displayed to the users.
