Enhanced Audit Log Support for Package and Group Components

Stay is enhanced to capture detailed audit logs for all user actions performed on package components and group components, ensuring complete traceability of changes made to fixed components and allowance components. All actions are logged with date, time, username, and the appropriate entity type.

Package Components

Whenever users add, modify, or delete a fixed or allowance component from a package rate plan, the action is captured in the Audit Log screen under the entity type, Rate Plan. The following details are captured in the log:

  • Date

  • Time

  • Username

  • Values of fields before and after modification

When a fixed component is added, modified, or removed, the values of the following fields are logged in the Audit Log screen:

  • Type

  • Charge

  • Quantity

  • Applicable For

  • Max Person

  • Post Charge

  • Pricing

  • Frequency

  • Pricing Details:

    • Start Date

    • End Date

    • By Days of Week

    • Amount

When an allowance component is added, modified, or deleted, the values of the following fields are logged in the Audit Log screen:

  • Include Estimated Tax

  • Item

  • Charge Per Night

  • Charge Based On

  • Charge Frequency

  • Components Amount Based on Date Range:

    • Start Date

    • End Date

    • Amount

  • Allowance Amount Option: Amount/Value

  • Allowance Frequency: When the Custom option is chosen, the selected options must be logged

  • Include Arrival/Departure Checkbox

  • Allowance Based On

  • Breakage Posted As

  • Allowance ➜ Components Amount Based on Date Range:

    • Start Date

    • End Date

    • Amount

  • Skip Source and Meal Period for Allowance

  • Source

  • Meal Period

  • Transaction Item

Group Components

Whenever users add, modify, or delete a fixed or allowance component added as a group component, a record is created in the Audit Log screen under the entity type, Group. The fields logged for the group components mirror those captured for the package components including all fixed and allowance components fields listed in the previous sections.
