Stay - Comtrol Integration Enhancements

The following enhancements have been made to Stay - Comtrol integration:

  • When a reservation is checked out through Express Mobile, a notification will be sent from Stay to Comtrol.

  • Comtrol accepts values for the following fields and messages in basic Latin characters:

  • A new single-select drop-down list, Confirmation Number Source, has been added to the On-Prem Device section of the Comtrol interface in the Interface Channel Management screen (All Settings ➜ Administration ➜ Interfaces and Channel Management). The value selected in this field is sent in the Create Key Message sent from Stay to Comtrol.

  • The access areas configured for a reservation are included in the Create Key Message sent from Stay to Comtrol.

  • When a folio lookup is performed for a reservation through Comtrol, the option configured for posting charges from a POS system in the Interfaces section of the reservation is sent to Comtrol as follows:

    • Allow

    • Do Not Allow

  • When a reservation is created/modified in Stay, room type code will be sent as 0 in the Guest Reservation message.

  • When a key is requested for a reservation, the room type code of the reservation will always be sent as 0 in the Key Create Request message sent from Stay to Comtrol.
