Stay - Comtrol Integration Enhancements

The following enhancements have been made to Stay - Comtrol integration:

  • The authorized amount available for a reservation is sent from Stay in the Check In Room and Folio Info Response messages when a reservation is checked in or when a folio lookup is performed through Comtrol

    • The available authorized amount is calculated as follows: Available amount = Sum of all estimated charges - the total authorized amount across different folios associated with the Credit Card payment class.

  • Details for the following fields are sent from Stay when a parking request is created for a reservation or when a resync is performed in Stay or when a folio lookup is performed through Comtrol:

  • A Check In Room message is sent again from Stay when a parking ticket is created or removed after the reservation is checked in.

  • A Parking Request message is sent from Stay when the following operations are performed:

    • Reservation is checked in

    • Scheduled room move is performed

    • Reservation is checked out

    • Guest or reservation details are modified

    • When the first vehicle detail is added to the reservation

    • When the last vehicle added to the reservation is removed

  • Whenever the authorized amount available for a reservation changes, the updated amount is sent from Stay to Comtrol.

    • The available authorized amount is also sent when a Resync operation is performed in Stay.

  • When a Resync is initiated in Stay for multiple devices and when the resync process detects that a resync is not supported by any of the device, reset data is sent from Stay to Comtrol and the device is not updated in the device registry to denote that resync is not supported by the device.

  • When a Resync is initiated in Stay for multiple devices, the device registry is updated when the resync process is completed successfully for a device.

  • The loyalty tier of the loyalty program associated with a reservation is sent in the following messages from Stay:

    • Check In Room

    • Folio Information Lookup Response

    • Resync Data

    • Guest Name

  • When the Comtrol Fleet integration is not configured for the property, the list of devices is not displayed in the Interface drop-down list in the Syncing tab (Settings Interfaces Syncing). Instead, the value, All, is displayed. In this case, when a resync is initiated from Stay, reset operation is performed.

  • When the Comtrol Fleet integration is configured but there are no devices available that support resync, reset operation is performed when a resync is initiated from Stay.

  • Users can initiate a resync for multiple devices displayed in the Interface drop-down list. The first resync request will initiate a resync if another resync is not in progress for any of the other devices. Subsequent resync requests will be processed only when the previous request is completed.

  • When a device that did not support a resync operation previously is updated to support resync, the device registry is updated to include the device.

  • The device registry includes tenant, property, and globally scoped data that are used as follows:

    • When property scoped data exits, they are used first.

    • When property scoped data does not exist, but tenant scoped data exists, the tenant scoped data is used.

    • When both property and tenant scoped data does not exist, globally scoped data is used.
